Greetings,

Welcome to the official website of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® Upsilon Kappa Omega Chapter! I am honored to serve as the 2025–2026 President of this distinguished chapter, where our members exemplify professionalism, service, and a steadfast commitment to the ideals of our esteemed sorority. Since our chartering in 1996, Upsilon Kappa Omega has proudly served the Fayetteville, Fort Bragg, Pope Army Airfield, and surrounding communities, upholding a legacy of excellence and dedication.

My administration is rooted in transparency, inclusivity, collaboration, and sisterhood, with an unwavering commitment to upholding the principles and standards of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®. As a former Vice-President, Official Hostess and Archivist of this chapter, I am deeply inspired by the dedication of this remarkable group of women and their tireless efforts to make a positive impact. Together, we will foster an environment that empowers every individual, honors our history, and embraces innovation to meet the needs of a changing world.

Under the visionary leadership of our 32nd International President and CEO, Charletta Wilson Jacks, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated® enters the 2026–2030 administration guided by the theme "Championing Service. Empowering Sisterhood. Transforming the World." This vision calls every chapter to deepen its impact through service, strengthen sisterhood, and lead with courage, compassion, innovation, and excellence. Upsilon Kappa Omega Chapter is proud to contribute to these efforts, including the International signature program, AKA Foster the Future: From Here to Hope, which supports children and families in foster and kinship care.

This year, we are poised to implement impactful programs that address critical needs within our communities, guided by the 2026–2030 Community Service Program's eight targets:

  • Educational Support & Advocacy: Advancing equitable pathways to learning, leadership, literacy, and lifelong achievement.
  • AKA Family Matters: Strengthening families through safety, connection, stability, and multigenerational wellness.
  • Health Awareness & Well-Being: Improving health outcomes through education, prevention, and culturally responsive wellness initiatives.
  • Economic Growth & Success: Building sustainable wealth, financial stability, and economic opportunity.
  • Environmental & Sustainability Action: Promoting environmental responsibility and community stewardship.
  • Arts Advocacy & Cultural Awareness: Celebrating arts, culture, and creative expression as tools for empowerment.
  • The Global Community: Strengthening global awareness, service, and international engagement.
  • Undergraduate Impact Program: Empowering undergraduate members through leadership, advocacy, and personal growth.
